Rear Impact Protection Seat – VRIPS

The NMI VRIPS offers an innovative and space-efficient solution for maximizing seating capacity while accommodating wheelchair users. Designed with flexibility in mind, VRIPS is widely utilized by NHS Ambulance Trust Patient Transport Services, proving its reliability and performance in demanding environments.

Engineered for both safety and convenience, the VRIPS secures seated and wheelchair passengers with integrated twin 3-point seat belts. The seat features a rotating mechanism to facilitate wheelchair access and is mounted on NMI’s V Fittings with 178mm track centres. This allows the seat to slide along the track or be easily removed and repositioned to suit operational needs.
