The flexibility of seating configurations within a vehicle will vastly improve its operational capability. The best way of achieving this is by using the NMI Millennium leg and fitting. Designed in response to customer demand for a simpler solution to existing fittings with numerous location studs, (making insertion in and out of tracking extremely difficult) NMI developed a solution to the problem. Tried, tested and used all over the world the Millennium fitting meets all requirements.

Not only is the Millennium fitting easy to use, it is the quickest way to install and remove seats from tracking. See Training sheets for full operational instructions.

The Millennium fitting is also tested to the highest standards. See dynamic tests. Tested to ECE Regulation 14 and EU Directives 76/115. Primarily tested in NMI Heavy Duty Inset tracking, the fitting has been tested in a number of other profiles. Contact NMI for further details.

NMI manufactures legs for all the leading European seat producers.

When ordering, please specify the seat type, height, colour and tracking.

The standard leg height is 285mm, powder coated black.

For standard legs NMI supply top hat bracket fixings to secure the seat to the legs. Code – PM033

Standard legs are supplied with a spigot located in the bottom of the front leg to locate in the one inch pitch holes in the tracking.Legs without the spigot are also tested and will be supplied at the customer request. Simply remove the letter S from the end of the product code.

NMI will supply braced pedestals at the customer request – although this is not a standard option.

In instances where a narrow width seat needs to fit into track centres that are too wide to allow standard legs to be used, NMI offers two options:

Firstly, there is a leg with an offset top rail.

Alternatively, where the offset top rail leg is not wide enough, NMI will supply a leg extension plate screwed on to the top rail of the standard millennium leg. Leg extension plate Code – PM551

Very often, seats can be used for an attendant, and therefore is positioned rear facing. In this case, NMI recommends using our leg with two Millennium fittings for ultimate safety and peace of mind.
